Report: Saddam Writing Poetry in Prison

We could have a Saddam poetry contest...

So much for the Cahoot Theory of why we are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Or perhaps you can subscribe to the theory that Bush, Cheney and the Military/Industrial complex are all in cahoots but can't seem to manage the work to a profit...

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) The Springfield Diocese reached a proposed settlement of more than $7 million Thursday with 46 people who accused priests of molesting them when they were children....''I'm overwhelmed,'' said Marty Bono, a Chicopee man who says he was molested by a priest in 1971. ''I've been crying ever since I heard.''
''I respect the bishop,'' Bono said. ''He's done in four months what (his predecessor) couldn't do for a year and a half.''
The Nashville Dominicans had a serious mishap last night. High winds caused the roof to cave in at Saint Cecilia's Mother House. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the sisters need money immediately to make repairs. They have been in the process of raising money for regular repairs and expansion of the motherhouse to accomodate their growing ranks.
