Doing the bidding of my neoconservative masters

Here I am, after receiving orders from the Elders of Zion, defending the security of the State of Israel by overthrowing a hostile government -- hostile, that is, to the Elders, but completely harmless to the United States.

And I would do it again, if the neo-cons need me.

Eric,

Isn't it best to let sleeping gadflies lie?

HEY Eric..
They DID get the Flak Jackets to you guys... LOL

Yes, but the Marines in my battalion were only given one front bulletproof plate each. We never got any of the back plates, doubtless on the theory that Marines are always facing the enemy.

However, it occured to me whenever something exploded behind me that if we got shrapnel or a bullet from behind, the projectile would ricochet off the back of the front plate and tear through our bodies a second time.

Isn't bureaucracy wonderful?

I'll bet that photo is just a re-enactment.

OORAH!! My hubby just retired after 20 Active Duty...
He was I & I staff -6th ESB -(3043) and made sure that his Btn had their jackets last year before they went over.
They just re-deployed Tuesday and the hubbers is bummed that he isnt going.

Thank You ERIC for serving our Nation..
Semper Fi!

Good thing I wasn't sipping coffee when I read Victor M.'s quip above.

I admit it -- this photo is a re-enactment. You can see my kids playing in the background. But under no circumstances will I use it in a political campaign.

At least you are in good(?) company. You and Helen Thomas agree with why you were in Iraq: "Both the president and Britain's prime minister say [the Iraq war] was worth it all to get one man. Of course the U.S. expects much more: access to Iraqi oil, big business and permanent military bases, a foothold in the Middle East, the neoconservatives' agenda." http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000591869

What? Who?
