Most bad baby names are just embarrassing, but this one's philosophically bad. Let's get this one straight, parents: babies are not products; people are not things. OK?

How lame. Although you'd die if you heard the names of the kids I teach.

He should give the child a real name, like Hrothgar.

Dear RC,

Not only are children not a product, they aren't simply miniature versions of there father/mother either. This is hideous philosophically and humanly. It is neither amusing nor is it likely to lead to any sense of self-worth. Bad all round.

but i have heard of someone named BDP who was named so because she was born on her dad's birthday. BDP = BirthDay Present!!
