Why was the Bible put on his head?
On the head of the person being anointed (at 3:00 in the video)? Healing comes from Christ, who is present to us in the Gospels. (Don't be surprised to see that the details of the rites differ between the Byzantine rite shown here and the Roman rite familiar to most of us.)
