Is that the actual size?

It's really beautiful. Must be breathtaking in person.

God Bless our Eastern Rite brothers and sisters. The eastern faithful never fell prey to that ugly-Church warehouse mode that we Romans had to endure mainly from the 1950s up until recently. Though recent improvements are a welcome sight, there is still tons of work to be done on our end to make our Churches *look* sacred, and not like meeting halls.

Have attended mass there and morning prayer during Lent. Both the liturgy (all in English) and the cathedral are beautiful, and the parishoners are friendly and welcoming. If I was younger I would join. Why didnt the Roman church just change the beautiful Latin mass to English, instead of wreaking all the destruction?
