The members of Good Shepherd voted almost unanimously in October to close the church by the end of 2007. Let me get this straight: This was the pioneer gay-friendly church, known throughout the nation, supposedly fulfilling this desperate need, and they topped out at 250 members? Maybe I'm just used to Catholic churches, but to me that sounds quite small.
