He's not leaving CBS, just giving up the anchor's chair. He'll still be a correspondent for (drum roll please) 60 Minutes.
OK, so lemme get this straight.
He snafus on the Bush National Guard story, which was a "60 Minutes" segment. And then when he gets his portfolios trimmed in the wake of all the embarrassment caused to the network, he KEEPS that one, but LOSES the anchorman job -- the one that requires only the ability to read well.
What am I not gittin'?
That is one big watch.
