It wouldn't surprise me at all if a couple of watch-list people were just hanging around thinking, "You know what would be funny? If Ted Kennedy couldn't get on a plane because he was on the watch list. My dad always said he was a meanace to democracy...

I thought the exact same thing. A smart database administrator would know how to cover his tracks.

I think the ban only applies to low-altitude land vehicles over bodies of water.

Perhaps someone who remembered the Hindenburg thought it wasn't a good idea to allow a big bag of hot gas up in the air again.

Perhaps Buddah was right about that divine karma thing?
