My friend has asked me to do a reading at his (Protestant) wedding service, and I get to pick the reading. The other reader is Jewish and probably will pick something from the Old Testament, so I'd like to select something from the New. Anyone got a suggestion? Not the one from Ephesians. (You know the one.)

Colossians 3:12-17
You mean 1 Corinthians 13 did not immediately come to mind? I do believe that is the most popular choice.
Try this one: Phillipians 2:1-11
I'm thinking Psalm 58.
Heh.
(Doing my best Howard Dean impersonation.) How about something from Job?
How about the end of Revelation where St. John writes about the New Jerusalem as a bride coming down from heaven.
1John 4: 7-20
John 17:20-26
1 Corinthians 13
Is that St. Paul's "Love is patient, etc." one? That is a very popular one. Good advice, not likely to ruffle feathers like Ephesians. The reading from Revelation sounds like an interesting choice.
I was going to recommend that Revelation text too; chapter 21, verses 1-6, say.
1 Cor 13 is, alas, so commonly heard that it is virtually not heard.
