Hi folks, I have an urgent prayer request. There's been a rather frightening twist in my moving plans back to Canada. Barring Divine intervention, I'm likely gonna find myself stuck in no-man's land between the US and the Canadian border. It concerns importing my car, as I attempt to negotiate between US customs, Canada customs, my insurance company and possibly a second one, and the bank that holds the lien on my car. Please keep this in prayer, as it needs to be resolved before the day is over.
Help! Urgent Prayer Request!

Pete,
You have my prayers. I always find great joy in God answering prayers for things that may not seem very important. I am sure that His hand and the intercession of John the Baptizer will get you over the border!
I'll say a little prayer to St. Christoper for you
St. Michael the Archangel, defend him in this day of battle, be his safeguard againt the wickedness and snares of the Devil, May GOd rebuke Him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all other evil spirits who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen./
Thank you, Father, for providing for Pete's every need, according to your riches in glory in your Son, Christ Jesus.
Bless him with your peace which transcends all earthly care and anxiety in the meantime as this is resolved, and may it be resolved Lord with undue expedition, so that your name be glorified by your provision of this miracle for your faithful servant.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Soooo...what happened?
Pete:
Question: How long did you live in the States? When my parents moved back to Spain, dad took his car with him. Given that he'd lived outside for 35 years, it was a personal car etc tec he only paid 110$ in custom fees. So you can raise the time away argument as well as depreciation, if the province has no fault insurance etc etc. :)

Uh, cudnīt u sell it, or place it in somebody elseīs name?
I ask, since I had a friend in the same bind,
Of course, he probably made the wrong decision, since he just ended up selling it to me (so I picked up a fairly new BMW for a couple thousand)
