Of course we're not on topic. Perhaps we need to put more Catholic Light into Catholic Light, or just decide it's going to be misc. stuff...

Perhaps the blog should be renamed to "Luminous Miscellanea"

I guess you could post a little more "on topic" stuff, Richard....

Dear Sir,

Of course it is on topic if a Catholic is posting a Catholic view of these things. It's not as though Catholics live in some rarified atmosphere all their own. Perhaps you don't have a lot of "Catholic" centered stuff (whatever that may be), but the posts are made by Catholics for a Catholic audience and presumably attempting to present a variety of Catholic viewpoints to the audience.

On the other hand, I don't really know what I'm talking about because I only write about politics and other things on other people's blogs. You get right down to it, I don't have a particular Catholic blog.

Or maybe this blog is catholic in the sense of the renaissance man and woman...
