"The bouquet has hints of pear and honeysuckle. It has a strong oaky finish with a touch of smokiness. Pair it with herbed chicken. With those flavors and the connotation of its name I give it a 93 on the Charlie Johnson Wine Scale."
I've always wondered why Chardonnay is so popular. It's hard to match with anything that isn't smoked or roasted. Plus, I hate it when oak is the dominant flavor, instead of one among many; Charlie, as you point out, disagrees.
Where do you get that? I'm expecting some of God's Dogs for dinner later this summer, and would love to serve them this wine. Do you have a link? Post it here for us to see!

I'm in since they have a Merlot available. We don't drink much Chardonnay in the Schultz house when we can have the great taste of Pinot Grigio.

I agree. That's why Pinot Grigio is so popular in the Schultzhaus.
Why mess with a chardonnay when you can serve Cardinal Zin?

A Google search for "aquinas wine" turns up several sellers.

Thanks for the note. I too found several on-line vendors through google, but most seem to charge more for shipping than for the wine itself.
The domain making Aquinas is Don Sebastiani & Sons. See their site here:

I spoke to both local distributors, and several of the larger liquor stores, but it seems that no one in Colorado has it. )c8
