While there are no party registrations in Virginia, I do think you have to take an oath saying that you consider yourself a Democrat. Which would make Republicans who did so guilty of bearing false witness.
P.S., Yes, I do realize that this blogpost was a joke, as was the site linked to. I just thought I'd present the readers of CL with the informative tidbit in my previous post.

One thing you can say about Sharpton is that he would make a great guest for dinner. Can you imagine having a guy like Kucinich in your living room? - or long John Kerry and his heiress wife. - or Dean?
Lieberman is a nice guy too but not as much fun as Al.
I'd have Rev. Al for dinner, but only if he agreed to call me Admiral.
