Twenty-four years ago today, the Pope was here.

An enterprising record company offers audio highlights of the trip.

RC -- If you ever stop into T Anthony's Restaurant up by BU's West Campus, you'll see on the wall, amongst all the BU hockey pictures, a fun painting of the Pope in his motorcade passing the eatery. The Pope and the T. Anthony's Sign in the rain -- a unique bit of local memorabilia. (I also highly recommend a steak-and-cheese while you're there.)

I was among the wet hundred-thousand on the Common that day. Thanks for the memory. MCNS
