Even discounting 30% of the traffic as bots or Catholic Light contributors -- probably a high estimate -- that means about 400 people visit the site every day. Not too bad for a little blog like ours. Break out the holy water! Let's get CRAZY!

I think a field study needs to be taken in order to make sure we are adequately addressing the needs of our Italian visitors. Venezia, Roma, Firenze - here I come!

I am a priest assigned to graduate studies at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome who lives at the Casa Santa Maria (the graduate studies house of the North American College), and I visit your site once or twice a day as part of my effort to keep up with things back home. I suspect that some of the other priests in the Casa may drop by from time to time also, and that that might explain some of your Italian popularity.
