National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth

National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

Yesterday I paid a visit to the Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American-born Saint. It has a remarkable sculpture and mosaic of the Agony in the Garden. The scene is depicted in a circular room around the sculpture of our Lord accepting the will of the Father in the cup of suffering the angel is presenting Him.
