No, it’s not April 1. I really am cheering for the Archbishop of L.A. who has barred dissident Australian bishop Geoffrey Robinson from speaking in the Cardinal’s diocese during his book tour.

I remember that Los Angeles Auxiliary Bishop Edward Clark was a member of the USCCB Committee on Doctrine when it publicly corrected the published views of Marquette U. Prof. Daniel Maguire last year, views similar, I think, to Robinson’s…perhaps Bp. Clark helped Cdl. Mahony come to his good decision…
