Space gear = bad photo-ops

You could be forgiven for thinking that Gerhard Schroeder schroeder.jpg were losing his grip as the Eurofederalist constitution melts down, but no, he’s just having a bad photo-op. Since he’s got an election coming up in a few months and is likely to lose, I guess you could call it a John Kerry moment.

  1. I saw that and thought – that belongs on the blog! Thanks for getting to it, RC. I waited all my life to see Schroeder dressed up like a Krispy Kreme factory worker. Or maybe the Krauts bought the Nuclear Power Plant in Springfield.
(I can say “Kraut” because my last name is Schultz!)

  2. In seeing the EU Constitution going down in flames all I see in the media is credit to the liberals and the left–or the very extreme right. How about the Catholic Middle that didn’t like seeing an Italian
defender of traditional moral values being barred from a high position in the Union. I know that after that the EU would never have gotten my vote.
They also told the pope to take a hike when he asked them to give credit to 1500 years of Christian history in Europe–to go along with credit to Greece and Rome–for making Europe what it is today.
