Hmm…Is that a gerund or a gerundive phrase? That is, are the families doing the borking, or do Specter and Kerry want to bork the family? Or are both equally accurate?
Imagine the possibilities if we instead substitute “porking.” On second thought, I’d rather not imagine them.
