Depends what you mean by “everybody” and “us”
If we are speaking of the American people or the current administration in power; I have travelled in the US (I have relatives in the Philadelphia area whom I visit for Thanksgiving), and observed the decency, compassion and humanity of the former- but my greatest disappointment has been my failure to see the same qualities in the latter
