Instead of “Jason Berry and the Causa Nuestro Padre…,” you should title this blog post: “Jason Berry and the ‘Cosa Nostra’-Padre.”
Someday, a courageous journalist like Jason should report on how Fr. Alvaro Corcuera boasted about “tricking the [local] mafia” the day he and Fr. Juan Solana purchased an old hotel with an amphitheatre and pool near Sorrento, Italy. It’s got a gorgeous view of the island of Capri and bears the name “Santa Maria di Termini.”
You wouldn’t believe how many influencial ecclesiastics have vacationed there. What a racket the LC had!

Hoping that the picture of John Paul 11 with the founder , right in Mexico City , is to fortell of good things to come – of the founder handing over future reigns to the Holy Father and his intercession and protection from heaven , the founder’s readings to be replaced by the Word and its deeper study as well of the Pope’s (esp. on human dignity ).
( just sharing some dreams here :) ) This , then to bring forth better transparency , such as even the youngest to have good access to open and bold communication , to any and all they are to have close relationships to, esp.their own families and the whole body , to have power to be part of the decision making , through regular ‘town hall ‘ interactions – in these days of easy internet communications , possibly an easy job !
L.C , in penanace , to develop ways of preventing and helping all abuse victims, starting with the unborn -such as by developing homes for unwed mothers, places of intense prayer and Word based therapy and exporcisms , for any who seem even slightly afflicted and then to expand it to the general population .
As motivation for L.C to accept the plans of restoraion, any furthur expansion of the order to be in halt , till all restoration plans have been implemented, including hopefully a new name !
L.C case ( all premises of its fall ) to be studied reguarly by its own members as well others, to examine if such traits are develpoing and how to prevent same !
Could even this have been a part of the Fatima prophecy -‘ Russia will spread her errors , the good will suffer with the bad’ ! Seems this too was a system in communist style , in some regards – except lot worse , as part of the smoke , in The Church !
If so , intercession and patronage of Pope John Paul 11 even more appropriate !
May His mercy prevent and protect many from all areas of sinful attachments , to be filled with the Father’s love , in The Holy Spirit !
The founder’s initials could survive – M M for St.Mary Magdalene as a patroness !
This could include the mission to see more of The Father Image in The Son !
This posibly a crtitical need so that those starving for father love or those who even carry Father hatred which then takes in the lie of an abusive Father ( this about our Heavenly Father , for lack of seeing His Oneness with The Son !)can be brought to The Truth of the Father’s love ! That it is The Father’s Love that sustained The Son all through The Passion and that He made available for us , through same !
Such an awareness then would leave no room for blasphemous movies like the Da Vinci Code , for we see The Father, in The Son and we learn what the real Father does for the children !
