    “Great Momma”?
I have to wonder what teenagers (I assume that’s the target crowd) really think about this kind of thing. Do they really find it “relevant” to their lives or do they laugh at it as a bunch of phony, clueless adults attempting to be cool?
If there’s one thing adolescents can’t stand it’s adults who try to act hip (and I deliberately use the outdated slang term “hip” because they tend to be ten or twenty years behind in the cool department!) I remember when I was a teen; my friends and I were often embarrassed when grownups attempted to “relate” to us that way. Very few of them could really pull that off convincingly.
I don’t watch The Simpsons much anymore, but one line from that show I really love was when Abe Simpson said: “I used to be ‘with it,’ but then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now, what I’m ‘with’ isn’t ‘it,’ and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary to me!”
That about says it all! :-)
    In Jesu et Maria,
