Is it me, or does this sound like a high-school break-up note?

Casey Sheehan didn’t “die for nothing.” He died trying to save his fellow soldiers. I will show men like him to my children as examples of how life ought to be lived.
As for the members of the “peace movement” she denounces…you can probably guess what I’ll say about them.
