Teresa and I made a Marriage Encounter this weekend. It was absolutely wonderful – probably the best thing we’ve done together since we got married. May 28 is our seven year anniversary.
If you’re married, or a priest and haven’t gone on an encounter weekend, I highly recommend it.

Awwwwww, John. You didn’t tell us ahead of time, or my wife and I would have locked the bedroom door, lit our wedding candle, and prayed for you and your wife. :)
My wife and I will be encountering again in November. It’ll be close to the 10 year anniversary of our first “encounter”. We’ve been married 21 years.
We made our weekend in 1992, and were team for several years thereafter. The blessings from ME helped us to later on get through some really tough times. It is a great experience for a basically sound marriage. For marriages in trouble, I highly recommend Retrouvaille – I have seen it basically turn around couples that were heading to the divorce courts.
