I don’t much like the idea of someone taking the name “Jesus Christ.” Granted, some Spanish people name their sons Jesús; that’s acceptable in their culture.
Also, some people evidently have the last name “Christ”; like a certain neo-pagan feminist writer named Carol Christ (I always thought that a bit ironic). I don’t think too many people surnamed “Christ” would name their sons “Jesús”, but it could happen in theory.
Still, it just doesn’t sit right with me that someone would take the Holy Name as his own, like this man did.
