Isn’t “Family Planning” a little misleading?

Often, when I’m looking for something at CVS, I notice the aisle containing something called “Family Planning.” I’ve looked at the contents, and except for the ovulation detectors, it’s all about contraception.
Shouldn’t the aisle thus be called “Family Prevention”?

  1. The one in my local target also includes ovulation thermometers, a book on fertility awareness, pregnancy tests, as well as condoms and spermicides.
Maybe we should write to the drug stores and ask them to carry a good basic NFP bok as well.
