Deo Gratias! This is just what I suggested on Mark Shea’s blog a few weeks ago. It’s great to see that someone out there founded just a group!
    In Jesu et Maria,

  2. Respectfully, I don’t see what the big deal is. A person with celiac disease has to make significant adjustments to his lifestyle to avoid gluten. Receiving the sacrament under the appearance of wine or a low-gluten host is just one of many. Priority no 1 is for this person to receive the real thing. A priest wiht any sense should be able to handle the issue in the correct way.

  3. On the Options page we are given this advice:
“Occasionally, one can find a priest who is willing to consecrate a rice host, but they are few and far between. In addition, since they are “breaking the rules,” it’s best to be subtle about it and not publicize it. As such, this is not an answer for the vast majority of Catholic celiacs.”
