Aquinas wine: should it be the official drink of Catholic Light?

Charlie says yes! What do you guys think?

  1. Charlie says
“The bouquet has hints of pear and honeysuckle. It has a strong oaky finish with a touch of smokiness. Pair it with herbed chicken. With those flavors and the connotation of its name I give it a 93 on the Charlie Johnson Wine Scale.”

  2. I’m in since they have a Merlot available. We don’t drink much Chardonnay in the Schultz house when we can have the great taste of Pinot Grigio.

  3. I’ve always wondered why Chardonnay is so popular. It’s hard to match with anything that isn’t smoked or roasted. Plus, I hate it when oak is the dominant flavor, instead of one among many; Charlie, as you point out, disagrees.

  4. Eric –
Where do you get that? I’m expecting some of God’s Dogs for dinner later this summer, and would love to serve them this wine. Do you have a link? Post it here for us to see!
